Vi-Jon is one of the leading providers of private brand nail polish removers in the United States. Chances are, if you've ever bought nail polish remover, you've used one of their products. If you haven't used nail polish remover, then you have come to the wrong blog ;)
This remover is in a bottle with a flip top, so you can squeeze it onto your nails, or if you prefer apply some on a cotton pad and then apply to your nails.
It is infused with moisturizing coconut oil, and has blue beads in the gel.
I used the same polish that I used for my review with Nail Aid, 3 coats of OPI's Shine for Me. An incredibly dense microglitter polish, perfect for reviews like this.
Directions are simple. Follow the 3 steps provided on the back of the bottle.
For this review I squeezed it onto my nails, but had to rub it around a bit because I got a little overzealous and squeezed too hard.
And here are the results:
Notice the only polish left is around the edges where I didn't get the gel on the nail? IT WORKS! I used a cotton pad and pressed down and wiped from left to right on my nail and it removed easily.
Just for comparison, here's my thumbnail where I used a cotton pad with regular acetone:
Pros: Does exactly what it says it will do. The smell is fantastic (if you're not a coconut scent lover, you may not like this), it's not sticky. It did not leave my cuticles dry and nasty after use.
Cons: I don't really care for the flip top squeeze method. I wish there was a way to apply it more easily to my nails.
Do I recommend this?: YES!
