Happy Monday! I hope you all had a fun filled weekend. Today I have 4 from Orly's Sugar High Collection to show you, and I did my first ever glitter gradient!
I stalked Sally's for weeks trying to get the Sugar High Collection. Then, a snowstorm hit and I wasn't able to go for a week and a half. I'm guessing in THAT time they got the collection and someone STOLE (ok I'm dramatic, I know) part of the collection before I could get it. I was a sad panda. Anyways, I have 4 of the 6 to show you, and to make up for not having the entire collection, I did some nail art for you all ;)
Cake Pop is a white creme with a hint of pink. The formula was just not good for me at all. It was runny, streaky, and still had bald spots after 2 coats. This is 3 coats.
Sweet Dreams is a grey with pink pearl shimmer. This one spoke to me the most. When I saw the press release I didn't care for it, but in person it is so pretty! This is 2 coats.
Candy Shop is described as a mauve creme. This is one of my favorite shades of purple. Who am I kidding, I love all shades of purple. This is 2 coats.
Plum Sugar is a gorgeous dark plum creme. I used one coat, but I probably should have used 2 to fill in the ridges in my nails.
First, I tried to watermarble with these. They would NOT spread. Someone else might have luck, but I had none. Next, I wanted to try a scaled gradient, but after I sponged on the holo polish, I was too satisfied with how it already looked to do anymore to it!
Base is Candy Shop, gradient is Smokey Mountain Lacquers Plumtastic & Cirque Xochitl.
Which is your favorite from this collection?
