Boy do I have something special in store for you all today! You may be thinking to yourself "What's that Manna? Some amazing nail art?!" Nope. A story about my inability to nail art appropriately. Oh, and this clear jelly stamper from BPS.
Let me just start out by saying I don't know why I put myself through the torture of stamping. Every time I think to myself "this time it will be better!" and every time I'm proven wrong.
After 30 minutes I finally found a plate/stamping polish combo that worked, don't ask me what plate I used because I have no clue, it was thrown across the room. Sadly, I'm not kidding. Anyways.
I did buff the stamper lightly with a fine grit nail file. I actually wouldn't suggest doing this because it makes the stamper cloudy looking which kinda defeats the purpose of looking down the stamper and seeing the image.
"That's it??" you ask, "no full mani??" NOPE. WHY? Cuz I'm the worst blogger in history. After I finally got one nail stamped, I decided I hated the image. Like wtf is that image anyways? I know it's supposed to be a rose but it looks terrible. Still, I tried to press forward and attempt to stamp the rest of my nails so I could provide you all with a full mani pic.
But then, I knocked over 3 of my (open) stamping polishes. Polish everywhere. Polish all over my table. Polish all over my freshly manicured cindy hand. I slung my stamping plate in frustration, lots of obscenities ensued.
It's not you, clear jelly stamper, it's me. I suck at stamping. I just need to come to the realization that maybe I'm not meant to be good at every nail art technique.
Would I recommend this stamper? Absolutely! Would I recommend myself to do some nail stamping on you? No way, I'm done. I'm sticking to water and vinyl decals.
Are there any nail art techniques that frustrate you?
