Nouveau Geek Box: Star Trek

Hey everyone! I'm excited I get to share the next installment of the Nouveau Geek Box with you all. This months theme is..you guessed it..Star Trek! Keep reading to see all the swatches and info on how you can order yours!

Inspiration: Klingons, antagonizing villains in the Star Trek series.
Description: Klingon is a brown holo polish with brown micro glitter and a golden shimmer.
Application & Formula: Application and formula are spot on, no issues to report. Still patchy at 2 coats, so unless you do thick coats you will need 3 for full opacity.
Opacity: 3 coats

Inspiration: Captain Picards assimilation by the Geiger-esque alien race, the Borg.

Description: Locutus of Borg is a black crelly base filled with blue toned shimmer, navy and fantasy blue flakies.
Application & Formula: I did have some minor issues with application. It didn't apply as smoothly and as easily as I'd like. I think it may have something to do with my inexperience in CSL's brushes/cap. My pics don't do it justice, it's gorgeous in person!
Opacity: 2 coats

Inspiration: Inspired by Bohemian's favorite android, Data.

Description: Unlimited Data is a shimmery, frosty off-white polish with gold flecks and flakes.
Application & Formula: Application is streaky, dries kind of gritty so you will definitely need a top coat! I noticed I had some ugly bubbles on the nail. I'm not sure if it was my top coat, or maybe my peel off base coat?
Opacity: 2 coats

Inspiration: The Stardate given during the first TNG episode, Encounter at Farpoint.
Description: Stardate 41153.7 is a scattered silver holographic with blue shimmer and dark blue microglitter.

Application & Formula: Flawless application and formula! Applies like butter. Dries gritty because of the amount of glitter.
Opacity: 2 coats

Inspiration: Scotty wore an Orange shirt. when others wore red.

Description: The only redshirt that didn't die because he wore orange is an orangey red shimmery color with a touch of holo glitter.
Application & Formula: Formula is on the thinner side, but builds up nicely. Application was flawless.
Opacity: 3 coats

Description: Deep Space Fine is a linear topcoat with added holographic glitter in blue and purple hues 

Application & Formula: Formula is amazing. No glitter pooling on the brush or nail, so it applies smoothly. I built this up to full opacity, even though it's labeled a top coat ;)
Opacity: 3 coats
