November Polish Pickup ft. Grace-Full, MTK Design, Nail Hoot, & Static Lacquer

Hi everyone! It's Polish Pickup time again, this months theme was BADASS WOMEN! I was skeptical at first, but I think the makers have chosen a nice variety of who they consider to be badass. I have 4 to share with you guys today, let's get started!

Grace-Full Nail Polish - So What!

So What! is inspired by Pink, who I definitely consider badass. I remember she came around back in the day when pop princesses were taking over, and it was nice for me, as an angsty teen, to see someone 'different' and more like me. It's described as a blackish purple to pink thermal with UCC flakies and micro glitter. Formula is on the thicker side and the bigger glitters did drag to the edge of the nail. Just do a quick swipe to put those pesky glitters back into place and it's fine! My swatches below show 2 coats with top coat.

MTK Design - Metal Goddess

Metal Goddess is inspired by Lita Ford, lead guitarist for the band the Runaways. I am unfamiliar with them, 70's music wasn't really my thing! It's described as a black (more blue to me) to 'blonde' (Lita's hair color) holo thermal with blue/purple/pink shifting shimmer. Formula was great, no issues getting this one to transition quickly. My swatches below show 2 coats with top coat.

Nail Hoot - Trinity

Nail Hoot took inspiration from Trinity from the Matrix for this stunner! It's described as a multichrome with a blackened purple base that appears green in some lights and has a strong red/purple shift. Brandie from NH has dubbed this her prettiest polish yet, and I have to agree! Perfect formula and application, my swatches below show 2 coats, but you could easily get by with 1 coat.

Static Lacquer - I Am No Man

I Am No Man is inspired by the amazing Eowyn from The Lord of the Rings. I haven't watched LOTR in soo long, I really need to get on that again. It's described as a pale pink with flashes of purple and blue, micro holo flakies, and purple to copper ucc flakies. Simply stunning, and so unique! Perfect formula and application, my swatches below show 3 coats, but you could get away with 2.
